Pivoting into Covid
Late in the project, the Covid-19 global pandemic disrupted the project’s daily operations but brought the pivotal opportunity to address scaling issues with Covid-19 testing access. Sunrise rose to the challenge by reworking the entire product for a new Covid-19 assay chemistry including drastic changes to the workflow, the code, and the system requirements.
The System
Sunrise’s experience in medical software development and User-Centered Design helped our client to quickly scale their technology vision into a fully realized, consumer medical device with a launch focused on influenza A/B and a CE Mark approval for European distribution for Covid-19.
